Every time I see you
I want to tell you
what I feel for you
But I can’t

I still can in a poem
Maybe you’ll read it
Maybe you don’t think it is true

All I can tell you is
I am in love with you
Nothing’s going to change that
Not you and not anyone

Maybe that’s weak
But I am a human
Humans are weak
And I am okay with that

You seeing my messages
And not responding
Yeah it hurts me.
It really does.

But it’s not going
to stop my feelings
Nothing will, nothing can
And maybe I annoy you with that

I don’t care about that
I can stop annoying you
But I can’t stop
what I’m feeling for you

And I want you to know
If you need more time
Just tell me please
I can maybe slow my feelings down

But not stop them.
I guess I never will
